In offensive disciple making we have to make sure that the person we are discipling scores, not that I score.

Takeaway: Skilled disciple makers have the vision, the intentionality, and the tools to play offense.

Action Step: Draw up a play and run it with the person you are discipling.

In today's episode, we talk about the amazing discipleship tool known as The Wheel!

Why the Wheel is great…

  1.     Gives a picture of a disciple
  2.     Assesses familiarity with the Word - depth & dexterity in the word
  3.     Assesses understanding of key Christian concepts
  4.     Models Scripture memory and intimacy with the Word
  5.     Gives an opportunity to self-assess his life as a disciple
  6.     Gives an opportunity to take a step in growth in a weaker area
  7.     Models being in-process and an alongsider.
  8.     Naturally sets up another meeting and future expectations.

Takeaway: What makes the wheel so powerful is that it starts with Christ and that’s where all good disciple-making starts.
